Friday 10th February
Pony Club / Childrens Fun Hunt Evening at Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold. 6.30pm to 9pm. The evening is for children and their parents to ask, learn about and meet those people who are involved with the hunt. Quiz with prizes for the children, supper and entertainment. Free to all. Saturday 11th February

Monday 13th February
Childrens / Pony Club Meet at 11am, Coniston Hall, Coniston Cold. £20 to pony club members including refreshments afterwards. Open to any child who has or has never hunted before - with or without parents leading. There will be people on horseback to look after you and help the younger ones, and for the older ones who want to jump. Great Fun. Email Jo for details
Saturday 10th March
Mexican Night...Yes its time for tequila, sombreros, fahitas and plenty of Mojitos! The party is at 7.30pm at Tom Bannisters House in Coniston Cold, Gargrave, Skipton. Tickets £10 each including food. There will be a bar, dancing, plenty of drinking and games so be ready for a wild night. Sleeping bags welcome. Mexican dress only. Sunday 18th March
Cross Country Training day at Coniston Cold, Skipton. Now an annual event due to its popularity right at the start of the eventing season using the hunter trial course. All details from Liz Adams on 01756 749772.

Hunt Lunch at Walshford House, Walshford, Wetherby courtesy of Matthew and Charlotte Walker. From 12.30 onwards, everyone is welcome to enjoy this fun and relaxing day out at the end of the season with our great hosts. Tickets £20 available from Charlotte Walker on 07958083587
Sunday 6th May
Pendle Point to Point Races. Heslaker Farm, Carleton, Skipton, BD23 3AB. First race 2pm. Fairground attractions for kids. Admission fees are reduced this year. Trade stands welcome - crowds have topped 4ooo people in the last few years so it is a popular family day out. Contact Tom Bannister 01756 748080 for all details.

Jo's Mid Summer Charity Dance...Back by popular demand. Held at Lowlands Farm, Burley in Wharfedale, Tickets £20 each inc Hog Roast, Disco, Auction, Balloon Raffle, Dancing until dawn in a Marquee and this years entertainment will be alternative Adult Gymkhana racing. 18yo and over only - a memorable night awaits. Shooting / Fishing Team Competition open to teams of 4. At Coniston Hall, Coniston Cold. Open to friends, Hunts, Young Farmers or Businesses etc. Cash prices. Lunch, bar etc. Details will follow later...
